SUMMARY:Pool training and skills practice
DESCRIPTION:Our weekly training session in the pool.\n\nDue to covid precau
 tions we are restricting the number of people in the pool at any one time 
 to 12 so we need to ask all members to book a place using the booking syst
 em below.\n\nA limited number of general swimmers will also be welcomed ba
 ck tonight.  Swimmers will have their own laned off area - they will not 
 have access to the deep end so cannot swim full lengths.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nCOV
 ID POOL PROCEDURES\n\nIntroduction\n\nThese procedures are in addition to 
 general rules on social distancing.  They are designed to enable us to us
 e the pool whilst complying with Welsh Government rules and the procedures
  developed by the pool staff whose guidance must be respected at all times
 .\n\nOne Golden Lion SAC officer will be present poolside to monitor compl
 iance with procedures and advise accordingly.\n\nThese procedures will evo
 lve over time as we understand them and as conditions change.\n\n&nbsp\;\n
 \nBooking\n\nGo onto the website www.goldenlionsac.org.uk and book a place
 \, out of necessity numbers are limited to 12\, initially first come\, fir
 st served\, then we will develop a rota to ensure fair opportunities for a
 ll.\n\nPlease do not book a place or attend the club if you have COVID sym
 ptoms\, which are: -\n\n 	a high temperature: this means you feel hot to 
 touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)\
 n 	a new\, continuous cough: this means coughing a lot for more than an h
 our\, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a co
 ugh\, it may be worse than usual)\n 	a loss or change to your sense of sme
 ll or taste: this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything
 \, or things smell or taste different to normal\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nE
 ntering the pool area\n\nYou will be asked to sign in as you enter the poo
 l to confirm you have no COVID symptom.\n\nEnter the sports centre through
  the automatic doors and follow the one way route through the first aid ro
 om into the pool\, there is a hand sanitiser station near the entry\, plea
 se use it.\n\nObserve the one way system around the pool (anti-clockwise) 
 at all times.\n\nAura have set up 12 numbered chairs along the deep end wa
 ll and carpark side wall\, one for each diver to store their kit adjacent 
 to (do not move the chairs from their set location)\, these numbers are al
 so matched on the changing room cubicles should you require a changing are
 a at the end of the pool session.\n\nPlease note we will not be meeting in
  the room over the pool as it is difficult to maintain COVID rules in this
  area.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nLeaving the pool area\n\nPlease ensure you have colle
 cted all your possessions prior to leaving the pool\, anything left behind
  will be quarantined and bagged for 72 hours if of value\, or disposed of 
 if of no value.\n\nExit the pool via the one way system (though the changi
 ng room) and through the right hand door in reception\, as signed.\n\n&nbs
 p\;\n\nDiving Equipment\n\nEnter the pool through the fire exit facing the
  AstroTurf pitch for the purpose of leaving equipment.\n\nDiving equipment
  can be left at the deep end and collected when you enter.\n\nPick up your
  equipment and take to it your changing chair.\n\nDivers to be responsible
  for assembling their own kit and turning their air on.\n\nIt is acceptabl
 e to assist another diver with putting their kit on but they need to adjus
 t it themselves.\n\nThere will be a bucket of disinfectant available to ri
 nse mouthpieces before and after use.\n\nDo not share mouthpieces.\n\nIf p
 racticing AS work\, disinfect the AS before and after each new person uses
  it.\n\nWhen carrying out your buddy check do not breath into the octopus 
 simply purge it to show it is operational.\n\nWe will develop systems for 
 training and refresher sessions as the season progresses.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nCh
 anging\n\nCome to the pool already showered and changed (including wearing
  your wetsuit if possible).\n\nPlease note the disabled toilet will be ava
 ilable\, but wet side toilets will be out of use\, please follow hygiene p
 rocedures identified by Aura when using the toilets.\n\nLeave your clothes
  on one of the numbered chairs poolside and change there.\n\nAfter swimmin
 g you may use the cubicle with the same number as your chair to change int
 o dry clothes\, showers will not be available.\n\nExit the pool promptly.\
 n\nCollect your equipment from the fire door.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWhilst in the 
 water\n\nDivers in full kit surrounded by chlorinated water are at low ris
 k of transmitting Covid but we must avoid contact with aerosols from regul
 ators or snorkels.\n\nNo swimmers allowed (this may change).\n\nKeep mask 
 on and regulators (if diving) or snorkels (if snorkelling) in your mouth a
 t all times whilst in the water.  Communicate with hand signals).\n\nRins
 e regulators and masks in the water prior to leaving the pool.\n\n&nbsp\;\
 n\nSome general stuff\n\nDo not come to the pool if you are experiencing a
 ny symptoms of covid.\n\nOnly divers to attend pool sessions. No general s
 wimming\, no spectators.\n\nWhen discussing diving on pool side\, maintain
  social distance (2 metres) or wear a face mask.\n\nNo more than 12 people
