Meet at the Argoed Sport and Social Club for an evening of information and lectures.  Every second Wednesday of the month

All members welcome.

Arrive for an 8pm start.

Come into the car park in front of the Sports and Social Club, and go into the main entrance .  The hall we use is at the back of the foyer on the left.  If you arrive early then you’ll find a weightwatchers class going on. They finish in time for us to start at 8.

Tea and coffee are provided (so long as one of us remembers to bring it). If we are lucky someone will bring cake and biscuits too!

After the more formal meeting we will retire to the bar for optional beer and pork scratchings.

Tonight’s special talk: Scapa Flow and the German Fleet by Dai Evans.  An insight into the history of these iconic wrecks and Dai’s experience of diving them.

Lectures for trainees begin after the talk so please arrive promptly

Trainees need to book in so that we can prepare lectures.  Note that bookings close at 8pm on Monday after which we cannot guarantee that your lecture will be available.
