Training day.
We will dive our spot at Newry Beach/McKenzie’s Pier. Look out for Sea pens, scallops, sea squirts, crabs, sea cucumbers, and lots of mud.
If conditions are suitable, there is an option to dive Soldier’s Point and the Flint Wreck, however the current weather forecast makes this unlikely
A chance of all divers to get in the water and to undertake some training too.
High water is at 14:42 and tides are approaching neaps so we will aim for our first wave of divers to be in the water at 12:30. Time your arrival accordingly.
Winds are forecast to be North Easterly 10 mph gusting to 19 mph but we will be sheltered on the beach
This event is concurrent with a boat handling day for new and improving boat handlers.
