Our weekly training session in the pool.

Every Wednesday evening (except the second in the month when we have a dry meeing for social, special talks and training at Argoed Sports and Social Club)

The Timetable:

7.45: Meet in the cafe/viewing area upstairs ready for an 8pm start

8.00 to 8.45:  Members meet, plan dives, discuss dives done and buy raffle tickets.  Trainees meet with instructors and plan their lessons.  Theory lessons get underway.

8.45:  Start kitting up by the pool.

9:00: Enter the water.

10:00: Exit the pool, put equipment away in the cage, debrief.

10.15: Vacate the leisure centre and retire to the pub (or go home)

Dive kit can be brought in through the main entrance and left in the first aid room (on your left on the corridor to the gym). Please remember to keep access to the medical couch free in case of an emergency in the session before ours.

The session is open to all members.  Come and practice your skills or just have a swim to keep fit.

Followed by a visit to the Gold Cape to talk diving over a pint and food.

TRAINEES PLEASE NOTE: Booking is essential to ensure that your instructor is prepared for your lesson.  Booking close on Monday at 8.00pm
